When documents for state registration of a legal entity or individual entrepreneur are filed electronically and signed with the applicant’s qualified electronic signature, no state duty is payable. The exemption also applies to filing through a notary.
What to check before filing
- choose the business form and prepare formation documents;
- check the address and applicant information;
- choose an available filing route: online service, notary or another permitted channel;
- confirm the current document list and grounds for refusal.
Registration period
Where there are no obstacles, registration is completed within no more than three business days. Electronic filing removes the duty but does not remove documentary requirements.
Use current Federal Tax Service services and guidance before filing, as old instructions may not reflect current forms and procedure.
