Russian Online School Bankruptcy: Course Access and Instalments

In a Russian online school bankruptcy, identify the contracting provider and the promised product first: a licensed educational programme, an information course, consulting or platform access. The word “school” and a polished account interface do not prove educational status. Provider identity, licence, opened modules, feedback, certificate, bank instalments, personal data and rights in course materials require separate review.

Measure access by components

An open account does not always mean the full programme was performed.

Status determines the rules

An educational programme and an information course have different legal characteristics.

Instalments may be a bank loan

The bank obligation does not automatically end when the course stops.

Quick self-check
  • The offer, contract, receipt, advertising promise and course outline are preserved.
  • The legal entity or entrepreneur, payment recipient and platform owner are identified.
  • Opened modules, sessions, feedback and access termination date are recorded.
  • Licence, programme type and promised learning records are checked.
  • The bank credit agreement is separated from the provider calculation.

Identify the Online Course Provider

Compare the offer, receipt, payment purpose, site details, messages and corporate or entrepreneur register. Brand, teacher, producer, payment service and platform owner may be different persons. A claim is directed to the participant that assumed the relevant obligation.

The name does not determine the regime. Calling a service a “school” does not itself make it a licensed educational programme.

Licence, Programme and Learning Records

Where an educational programme is promised, review provider identity, licence, programme type, curriculum, assessment and final document. For information courses or consulting, analyse the actual contract content. A diploma cannot be assumed where only a participation certificate was promised.

Calculate Performed and Unperformed Components

Reconcile opened modules, webinars, marked assignments, tutor support, individual sessions and access term. Video-view percentage does not always equal contract value: the calculation should follow price structure and actual value of stages.

Bank Instalments, Payment Service and Refund

Marketing “instalments” may be a bank credit agreement. Course termination does not automatically cancel the bank debt. Notify the bank, review credit documents and prepare the provider claim without double counting.

  1. preserve contracts and advertising;
  2. record access and progress;
  3. identify provider and payment recipient;
  4. separate bank and school obligations;
  5. calculate the unperformed part.

Platform, Course Materials and Personal Data

Videos, manuals, assignments and software may belong to authors, the school or platform under different rights. A technical copy does not permit unrestricted distribution. The student preserves personal records and results, while personal data processing does not turn the learner database into ordinary sale inventory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does an online school need an education licence?

It depends on the actual activity and programme; review the specific provider and current exceptions rather than the name alone.

Does open access mean full performance?

Not necessarily. The contract, stages, sessions, support and practical ability to receive the promised result matter.

May bank payments stop when the school closes?

Not automatically. The credit agreement is a separate obligation requiring legal review and bank engagement.

May all lessons be downloaded and shared?

No. Technical access or a copy does not create unrestricted distribution rights.

Who receives the claim if a payment service collected funds?

Identify the service role, contracting provider and actual payment recipient.
